Little Man came to life in my studio in Brooklyn, New York. His quizzical look made me want to tell his story. I was working on abstract paintings featuring whimsical shapes so I decided Little Man's story would be about him encountering and interacting with those shapes. The book became a rewarding way to unite my visual vocabulary and my interest in encouraging unlimited imaginations.
I hope Little Man brings joy to your little ones!
Having worked with young children for many years, primarily as an art teacher, I have come to understand the importance of the materials we use to instruct and entertain them. I owe a debt of gratitude to all of the children whom I've had the privelege to spend time with for making Little Man a book that resonates with their spirit of curiosity.
